Getting paid on Spritz

Spritz shows ads in the feed, and creators get a share of the ad revenue from their posts. Here's how it works.

What you earn depends on what advertisers pay and how much time people spend on your posts, so we don't promise any particular amount.

Why 75%

Good photos and videos take time and money to make. When a platform pays creators little or nothing, their best work ends up somewhere else. Creators are the reason people open a social app, so we set their share at 75%.

How it works

  1. You post photos and videos.
  2. Ads run in the feed between posts, labelled Sponsored. We sell them directly to advertisers and review each one before it runs. They aren't targeted, and there's no ad tracking.
  3. We look at how each viewer's time was split between creators and credit each creator that share of the net ad revenue from that viewer.
  4. You get 75% of the net ad revenue credited to your posts.
  5. We pay monthly, within 45 days of the end of the month, once your balance reaches $50. Smaller balances carry over to the next month.

What "net" means

Net ad revenue is what advertisers actually pay us, minus only what other parties take: refunds and chargebacks, revenue from invalid traffic, ad network and ad server fees, card fees on advertiser payments, and taxes on the ad sale. We pay for hosting, bandwidth, fraud prevention and payout fees ourselves. Section 4 of our Terms of Service has the full definition.

Who's eligible

Creators join the program once we approve them. We approve real people who post their own work, with an account in good standing and no signs of spam or bots. There's no follower or engagement minimum. You'll also need to be 18 or older and give us your tax details and a way to pay you. You earn from the day you're approved. We may change the program over time. If we change the percentage, we'll tell you at least 30 days ahead.
